Squarepoint Design is a full-service provider of exhibit design, furniture design and fine art installation services. SPD looks at each project as a new challenge to find appropriate solutions for its unique criteria. At the heart of every exhibit or installation are the stories it must tell. Through a process that is inclusive and collaborative, our priority is to assist in the realization of that immersive storytelling and bring it to life for your audience.

Our process is simple:

  • Understand the needs of the client and the project
  • Make no assumptions
  • Develop concepts and refine them through communication with stakeholders
  • Turn ideas into real-world designs that fit the scope and budget
  • Implement design solutions using the right technology, materials and know-how

Squarepoint Design’s principal is Andrew Steever, a native of Charlotte, NC. After spending eight years in the film & television industry in New York City, Mr. Steever attended Pratt Institute’s Masters program in Industrial Design where his focus was furniture and exhibit design. He then went on to spearhead a number of projects including the Rabbit Aerating Wine Pourer for Metrokane and a new line of luggage for Tumi and Kirkland Signature. After moving to Charleston, SC in 2010, Mr. Steever worked as a designer and project manager for Technical Theater Solutions where he led that company’s exhibit related projects. In April 2013, he launched Squarepoint Design as an exhibit and furniture design firm.
